Investors and related personnel

The following foreigners can apply for temporary residence in this subcategory:

• Legal representatives and individuals with managerial or high-level functions in a foreign company, looking to invest in Chile an amount equal to or greater than five hundred thousand US dollars or its equivalent in other currencies, provided the investment aims to produce goods or services.

• Individuals with managerial, high-level, and technical specialist functions, hired as dependent workers or to provide services in a company established in Chile, whose capital or assets are directly or indirectly controlled by a foreign investor with at least 10% voting rights of the company’s shares, or an equivalent percentage of participation in the company’s capital or assets if it is not a corporation.
